Aspirations and Dreams

When I was much younger I used to spend most of my time watching the stars on a night sky thinking how far could I go. I had never thought I will end up here, but I am not complaining, I am quite contended with my life at the moment; I am back in the university again but this time I am not required to worry abt the exams, assignments, lab reports and plus I am also getting paid....:) Simple life, you guys may think, but ambition is stopping me from spending more time here. I mean, right now I am not committed to anything no car, no hse, no family, no kids, but things will not neccessariliy be the same rite?? Am I actually prepared to face all these?? It's freaking me out dont deny that but somethings have to be done...sigh, not like I have choices anyway.
Then come other issues like freedom, simplicity, happiness and so on. I have all these here, right now, but not so sure if I will have them in the future...sometimes I feel like chasing ambitions might take all these away from me. But I am willing to take the risk, to choose the path of greater obstacles..money is the main reason.

And I believe by doing all these, I seriously have nothing to lose...in fact, it might help me come out stronger. I always wanted to know how far I can push myself, whether I am capable of handling the pressure and stay calm when being attacked...hehe, don worry guys it's just a Suthar thingy. I know while writing all these, I had not been very clear on a few things, generalized a few things, think I prefer it that way, to hide some details...hmm think thats all for now, god bless. If I have the time later, might add some Aishu's pics, or wait maybe Trisha's....hehe.

Trisha guys,.... Trisha

A plate of char kuay teow and a cigaratte stick

What else can I ask for here?? Though the char kuay teow (ckt) in KL is no match for the ones they make in Taiping, they are still my favourite food. So clearly whenever we guys go out for a makan or something more than half of the time you can see a plate of ckt on my table. The tastiest I have taken so far are the ones made by Ah Leng in Larut Matang Hawker Centre, Taiping. The best part that time was however the price, it only costed RM1.00 a plate, so we fellas the ckt lovers will usually have 2 plates each followed by a bowl of 'black mountain'.

But I am telling u guys eating ckt is incomplete without having a stick of Dunhill cigaratte....it's like having sex w/o foreplay and all the love rituals. U may ask why Dunhill, why not Marlboro or something??...the answr is simple, Dunhill's taste is rougher and hotter and to me this goes extremely well with the spicy peppered taste of ckt...for the non-smokers, its like having a slice of bread with jam. Got the idea??

I do understand that this is not the best dietary scheme that one can follow....in fact, it's health-damaging in the long run. So, I am somehow determined to quit smoking before I get married...ckt I am not too sure probably I will continue eating them until a medical practitioner tells me that the cholesterol level in my body is kinda high...hehe. let's see what happens ehhh..

Euro 2004

With probably the biggest event of the year after Olympics arriving in less than a month, football is catching my attention again. When we talk abt football we have to remember that the most important rule of thumb in the game: "bola itu bulat" (the ball is round). Meaning it could be anyone's game; the favourite's or the underdog's. Remember Denmark in Euro 92' or Argentina in World Cup 90' or what happened to the French team of 2002?

But whatever it is, I am going to support France this time. They have not disappointed me 4 years back. I still can recall how Wiltord scored the equalizer at the dying minutes in the finals back then; short-lived joy for the Italians, and the French eventually winning the match thru Trezeguet's goal. Those were happy moments...I was really overjoyed. I was so happy with the way these guys performed, hence explaining my actions of supporting them 2 years back. With the top goalscorers in the English, Italian and French league all playing in the French national team in 2002, one expected these dudes to outperform everyone, also we must not forget Zidane(though he played only 1 game) and Pires(he didnt play coz of injury) who added credibility to the team.....but what happpened? They got kicked out in the group stages itself...sigh. But I am willing to forgive them coz they shone in the recently played friendlies and qualifers. I just hope they will go far this time, that's it.

Aayitha Ezhutu

I have not watched Yuva so I wouldn't know how to comment on that movie, but I did watch Aayitha Ezhutu, and I must say I enjoyed watching evry bits of it. I especially liked the chant Oh!Yuva Yuva Oh! Yuvaaa..., thought it was very inspiring.

To me everything abt the movie were just so brilliant, the casting, the acting, the plot, the storytelling style. There were three main characters: Inba, Michael and Arjun, each unique and equally siginificant to the story. One was a pest, the other one focused and the last one an ordinary teenager. These characters were carefully explored and assimilated to a simple yet powerful story which was centred on changes. That itself was very beautiful to me and when you were offered such a feast, you will pardon all the minor faults if there were any..:)

An institution's success very much depends on the idealism of the youth (YUVA) and the wisdom of the elders; shown to us by Shankar in Mudhalvan. Someone has to assume the role of a leader, if the institution fails to deliver. AE is all abt that, and Mani is probably hoping the same can be done in reality....whats wrong with that? Have we asked ourselves that question?

One word to wrap it up, excellent.
